Depending on the location of the stroke in the brain, a person could experience:
- paralysis or weakness on one side of the body;
- visual changes:
- trouble speaking or understanding language;
- failure to recognize or use familiar objects;
- tiredness;
- depression;

- difficulty learning and remembering new information; and changes in personality.
